The Finnemore Family

Higher Lank Farm has belonged to, and been run by, the Finnemore family for the last 100 years, carrying on the family tradition. The latest generation includes:

Farmer Andrew
Beef farmer, menagerie keeper, barn restorer, morning animal feeding guide, often your breakfast waiter! And a mine of information on agricultural issues and the history of Cornwall.
Husband to:

Lucy
Your first contact at the farm. Receptionist, telephonist, booking taker, emailer and letter writer! Cook, waitress, babysitter and sometimes cleaner. Also a mine of information (possibly a lot of which is frivolous) on all things child-friendly. Mum to four further helpers:

Sam
Pot and bottle washer, clearer and layer of tables.

Will
Assistant animal feeder and guide. Responsible for care of Bill, Pippa, George and Felix, the ponies. Horse/pony crazy, baby lover and available as an extra pair of hands around breakfast time. Nursery tea sous chef and waiter!

Toby
Arrival tour guide and in charge of toy tidying in the playgrounds and sandpit raking! Weekend assistant waiter.

Daisy
Resident playmate and proficient animal feeder.

We are also very ably helped by Nikki, a former pre-school assistant, with a child of her own. She is always cheerful, friendly and helpful. She is helped by Celie, another Finnemore (Andrew’s sister), and Teresa, a friend who has become an indispensable member of the gang.

Eco-friendly Higher Lank Farm actively supports low food miles, British produce, real nappies and recycling to reduce landfill waste and provides the perfect working farm holiday for families with babies, toddlers and young children, and especially with twins and triplets. We're so green, we have our own Biomass Boiler system, fuelled with locally sourced wood (and from our own woodlands as from 2014!).
