The price of this is NOT included in the week's rental. They may also order breakfast, supper and nursery teas either to eat in the main house or to be served to the barn. Self-catering guests are also welcome to join our tractor and trailer adventure during the asterisked weeks.

Family Tractor and Trailer Adventure, with pond dipping and eat as much as you fancy barbeque: £30 per adult, £7.00 per child
We reserve the right to increase the prices of suppers and nursery teas if the cost of our locally sourced ingredients rises
Babysitting is available at an additional cost of £6.25 per hour up until midnight, later by arrangement. While it is sometimes possible to arrange this at the last minute, we advise booking this service early.

Terms and conditions
A deposit of 25% should be sent with your booking form, with your balance payable 8 weeks before your arrival date.
We reserve the right to refuse any reservation at our discretion.
Your cottage will be available from 4pm on your arrival date and we ask you to vacate your accommodation by 9.30am on your departure date. We ask that you observe these times so that we are able to ensure that your accommodation is cleaned to the highest standards.
We reserve the right to charge for damage caused by guests, and their families.
We hereby formally disclaim any liability for any losses or injury sustained by guests or their property.
Any charges for your holiday or additional goods or services not prepaid (with the exception of babysitting) are payable on arrival.
We reserve the right to enter your accommodation, for daily cleaning and maintenance, and when necessary.
You are advised to take out holiday cancellation insurance. If you should have to cancel your holiday more than 12 weeks before it is due to start you will not be liable for the balance. If your holiday is rebooked then your deposit will be refunded, less a cancellation fee of £60. If you should cancel your holiday within 12 weeks of your arrival date you will be liable to pay the full balance unless the holiday is relet, in which case all monies paid will be refunded, less a £60 cancellation fee.
All cancellations must be made in writing to Higher Lank Farm.
We reserve the right to cancel a reservation at any time, in which case you will be entitled to a full refund of any monies paid.
Should your accommodation become uninhabitable during your stay, through no fault of yours, and we have no alternative available, you will be entitled to a refund of all monies paid on a pro rata basis, to the amount of your holiday that was affected.
You are responsible for the property you are renting for the duration of your stay, and are expected to take reasonable care of it. All equipment, utensils etc should be left clean, and the property be clean and tidy at the end of your stay.
The cleaning of bathrooms, making of beds, and vacuuming of the cottage, will be done every morning by a member of staff. The tidying of guests belongings, and the washing up, and cleaning of kitchen surfaces, is not included in this service and is the responsibility of guests. |
